Repentance could have been allowed once a week, or once a year, but because He is The Forgiver, it’s 24 hours a day, and for your lifetime.
“Allah The Almighty spreads out His hand at night to accept the repentance of the one who sinned during the day, and He spreads out His hand by day to accept the repentance of the one who sinned during the night,until the sun rises from the west” (hadith).
He could have just forgiven us, but because He’s The Bountiful, if you repent, believe and do good, He “will replace their evil deeds with good” (Quran).
He could have exposed our sins,but because He is The Preserver,He screened them for us in this world, and He will forigve them in the Hereafter.
He could have heard our supplications and denied them, but because He is The Answerer, if we raise our hands, He doesn’t return them empty.
He could have rewarded us once for every good deed, but because He is The Appreciative, every deed “will be rewarded between ten and seven hundred fold” (hadith).
He could’ve sustained only those who believe in Him, but because He is the Sustainer and Provider, He sustains both believers and unbelievers.
Whoever you rely upon is dying and leaving you one day, so better “rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die” [AlFurqan – 58].
When he couldn’t count Allah’s Beauty and Greatness, the prophet said “I cannot praise You enough; You are as You have praised Yourself”.
The invocation of the people of Paradise will be “Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds!”. Practice it now, so it would lead you there.
Because He created us, He could’ve forced us to worship Him, but because He is the Loving, He let us know Him & love Him at our own will.
He could have created intermediaries between us & Him, but because He is the Hearer, He loves to hear our invocations & answer them by Himself.
“Every son of Adam sins and the best of those who sin are those who repent” [hadith], and they’re the best because they flee unto the Forgiver.
The cow said “I have been created for tilling the land” [Bukhari], what a shame when the cow knows the reason of its creation and some men don’t.
“And there is not a thing except that it exalts by His praise” [17:44], and what a shame when all things exalt by His praise while some men don’t.
